Fit Review: Oiselle Running Tee

When I heard about Oiselle--a U.S. women's running apparel company started and run (ha!) by a female runner, with many products made in the U.S.--of course I had to try their products! I got my first order last week, which include two sale items--a running tee and infinity scarf. The package came with a thank-you postcard, sticker, and pin.

The running tee was $25 on sale and is made from a 50/50 blend of poly and cotton. It is very soft and doesn't feel like poly at all. It's promoted as fitted but not tight, and I found that to be true. The sleeves were a bit tight, but I have muscular shoulders so tees are usually tight. I got a small, and if I would have sized up to a medium, it would have been baggy and I don't like clothes flopping around when I run. I tried it on during our recent "heat wave"--which has come to mean anything above freezing--and paired it with an Athleta Relay Skort in raspberry (which I got on sale for $25). I like this color combination (but hello, pasty white winter legs!)

I also got an infinity scarf for $26 (no longer available, but here's another one that is similar). The inside is lined with fleece and the exterior has a very faint bird feather design. I love scarves and wear them constantly and got it for casual wear.. It is very soft and cozy, and I only wish I'd gotten it earlier this winter.

I love the Oiselle logo--a bird--and the bird theme in most of their tops. I'm not sure I'd buy another tee because of the fit in the arms, but I would definitely try a long-sleeved tee (this cute quill one is on sale) and their other tanks and tops.
