Core Yoga & Easy Run

In the morning before work I did a new yoga routine featured on the Runner's World website. The 23-minute routine focused on strengthening your core. I thought it was going to be just a lot of boat pose variations, but it actually had a lot of different poses and new variations on poses that I'd never tried before--and not a single boat pose! The eagle sit-ups were the hardest part of the workout for me. I thought it was a very good routine, and I'll definitely be doing it again.

After work was a 45-minute easy run on the river trail. It was back to cold weather with the temp around 24 when I went out. But hey, it wasn't in the single digits and the trail was clear of snow and ice, so I can't complain. Still, I dressed all in black to mourn the passing of the milder weather we saw briefly last weekend. Spring will come this year...right?
